we still had a few people that werent there racing but a couple watching (Freddie,Dan, Bruce, his daughter Krista and Ken...Jeremy Taylor said he even had one and there were two guys there that were also watching that have karts ) so the class should be even bigger next race....i dont think that 360 is enough for a permanent heavy weight like Mooresville but i think it is a good start until we will see how many people actually show for that weight...if the racing keeps going like the first race i think even more people will take a shot at it since they saw how good it turned out. probably might could have two weight divisions sometime later or plan for next year...a 340 and a 380 class....20 lbs is not that big a deal on an oval track but it is on a sprint track

360 it is! I think its the best way, add 10 lose 15 and I think it will equal out a little better. This is new to all of us and I think if its done right it will be something big in the future so we can use this as our "test run" for next year but I want to make sure the majority agrees.

I think the weight call is right on the money now. I had a chance
to run my clone motor after my 206 crapped out yesterday and found that with the
Maxxis tires, a good clone motor can run with the 206. I do think the 206 still has an advantage because it has a much wider power band but, I did notice on the starts, I was gaining on the 206s at the end of the straight. I think if I was a more experienced driver and I dropped about 30 pounds, I'd be very competitive with my clone motor.

I hate that I missed another race. Hip surgery in May will be keeping me off the track for some time. Hopefully I can make it out in April if not in too much pain....Ken

I'd be happy to help you out at the track any way I can and I think Mike Comer lives down there in the the Spartanburg area, you guys might be able to buddy up on the whole loading and unloading and take it easy on your bones.

The website says this weekend is clockwise.  This is opposite of last month, correct?  (I thought racing was always in the same direction)

It is the opposite direction. I'm thinking it'll suit my driving style (which involves d driving backwards through a field of karts) much better.

Are you coming down for this one Ken?

The weather looks like crap tomorrow and my spartan setup doesn't really allow for rain so, I'll catch y'all at the next one.

I'll be there as long as the rain chance doesn't skyrocket w/in the next 36 hours.
