Hey guys I know this is probably a long shot but my kart was stolen out of my trailer at the storage lot this past week and I was hoping you guys could keep an eye out for it. It's a 2009 CRG KT11 (Kali) with factory decals and the #97 and a very old Rotax Senior. The Rotax still has the old style air box, cylinder, and exhaust but I had just updated it with the new style clutch and metal balancing gears. Unfortunately I stupidly never wrote down the serial number on the chassis but the serial number on the Rotax is 781107. It was stolen in Ladson which is around the greater Charleston, SC area. Thanks for any help guys. Hopefully I'll be seeing y'all out there again some time soon.

I'll keep an eye open in VA. Hope you can find it. Have you reported it to the police?

Thanks man I appreciate it. The sheriffs dept and the forensics team were already on the scene when I got there Friday to pick up the trailer since I was planning on going to the track that weekend. A few other storage units were broken into as well. So I did file a report with them and they were able to pull some finger prints off the trailer that hopefully weren't mine. I also filed a claim with my renters insurance so hopefully I'll get something out this and won't be totally SOL. They pretty much stole my entire karting operation so I'm basically back to square one for a while.

Hope it works good for you and police find them. Any special feature or mark on frame or engine?

Can't really think of any special marks on the frame other than all the "CRG America" stickers all over the frame and body work. As for the motor, the cylinder head was painted red and there's some crappy looking welds on the right side mounting bracket on the exhaust pipe.

That could help a lot. At least they won't have it easy to sell or race.

Well it appears that I have found this guys Kart.... I bought it 3 days ago from someone I know that took it on trade. Popped a 9v in the Mychron and saw the last driver was Devin at CMP. (Raised an alarm cause the name didn't match the guy my friend got it from) Googled serial # for CRG and realized the data plate was missing... Then Googled CRG Devin CMP stolen and guess what? Called Devin from the number on this post and told him I have his Kart. I will probably loose the cash I dropped at the worst possible time but karma is a MF'er.. How do you tell your kids to do the right thing if you don't practice what you preach.... If a deal is too good to be true... It usually is...

Don't worry Randy I'll pay you what ever you paid for it. Your good deed won't go unnoticed. Consider it a reward. It's the least I can do for someone who is actually going to do the right thing, especially in this day and age. I just got stationed out in San Diego so give me a few days to find a place so I can have a reliable shipping address and I'll set up the shipping. I tried to find you on FaceBook but apparently you have a common name. It might be easier for you to find me. Devin Thornton in San Diego. Profile pic is me kneeling in front of the Grand Canyon. I'll keep in touch.
