The V8 StockCar Road Racing Series returns to Carolina Motorsports Park March 29th and 30th running with the SOUTH CAROLINA REGION SCCA at the BUCK MUSE MEMORIAL SARRC RACES. The group looks forward to challenging the new track configuration with three classes of high horsepower, tube frame "time machines."  The new track configuration should provide even higher speeds and more excitement for fans and drivers alike.

Rumor has it that Scott Murphy will be here.  Will he bring his "bad fast" V8 SPO ARRC winning Pennzoil Cup Car or his badder-faster GT-1 Corvette.
If he brings the Vette, that will make one hot shootout between him and Dave Machavern in his tommy Riggins Corvette.

2007 SCCA GT-1 Champ Tony Ave is coming, he will be driving another of  Larry Beebe's Gt-1's the ex John Finger TA Mustang.

Holy Crap... Tony Ave was fast Sunday.

I was yellow flagging from 4 and you should have seen the hustle-down moves that guy was making going into 5...OH MAH GAH.  He was on the hairy edge.

Even though the weather sucked, the track was mostly dry for their race Sunday.  Some of those poor guys couldn't see through their foggy windshields AT ALL... COUGH (White #7) COUGH.
